Fancy An Epic Cycle Challenge? …

Cycle Britain have something for everybody when it comes to cycle tours, however two tours in particular are not for the faint-hearted. The North Coast 500 (NC500) in 7 days and Land’s End to John O’Groats in 9 days.  If you class yourself as a keen cyclist with excellent fitness and are looking for a true test of stamina and will, then read on…

North Coast 500 (7 Days)

The NC500 is an epic cycling challenge and is often described as Scotland’s ultimate road trip – its very own equivalent to Route 66.  Cycle Britain offer two durations for this amazing tour (7 and 12 days) – if you’re a keen cyclist but want to take in the stunning scenery and sample some of the fantastic places to eat, drink and visit en-route, then we offer a 12-day package.  If you’re a keen rider and regularly cycle 70 plus miles per day, then our 7-day tour is for you.  One of Britain’s most legendary road trips. We’ve adapted the route – avoiding main roads such as the A9, winding through more scenic regions, detouring to luxury accommodation options – to transform it into an epic cycling adventure. This trip is packed with rugged coastal and mountain landscapes, and a road that twists and turns as though its sole purpose is to showcase the best of Scotland. Sure, this seven-day itinerary is a challenge, but the brave cyclist who accepts it will find themselves well-compensated with jaw-dropping views and with memories guaranteed to outlive the saddle sores and tired legs!

Cycle Britain

For our NC500 tour (7-day) in 2023, we have just a few more places left. Running from the 2nd July to 8th July, 2023, the tour is fully supported with a guide and support van.  Our prices include accommodation, breakfast, lunches, hot drinks and snacks – prices based on sharing and single room supplement. As with all Cycle Britain tours, we aim to offer the best customer experience. This means we always go the extra mile, whether it’s our daily bike-wash policy, pre-tour presentation evening or celebratory banquet in Inverness. Every decision is made to create an experience you will remember and treasure forever.  Ride in a maximum group size of 8 and enjoy the support of our expert team of guides, mechanics and drivers who’ll carry your bags, distribute snacks, help with repairs and lead you along the route while sharing stories that bring each day’s riding to life! We also provide the GPX files for those adventurous souls who wish to navigate or travel at their own pace. We provide 8 nights of high-quality accommodation. We book private rooms to guarantee optimum rest and recovery, however, room-sharing discounts are possible on request.

LEJOG 9-Days

Cycle Britain’s 9-day Land’s End to John O’Groats tour is possibly Britain’s most iconic cycling challenge.  and our most challenging LEJOG itinerary. Could you cycle the length of Mainland Britain in nine days? Cycling from Land’s End to John O’Groats involves more than 1,000 miles (1,600km) of riding and 48,000ft (14,000m) of climbing. Not a challenge for the faint-hearted, this is an epic adventure reserved for the strongest cyclists. Cycle Britain has plotted a stunning route based on our personal experiences. We combine beautiful scenery with quiet roads and cycle paths and with towns and villages that ooze character. After setting off from Cornwall, we tackle 100+ miles a day, rolling across England, Wales and Scotland, taking in their most beautiful sights.

Cycle Britain
